Ability First Australia is one of the largest not-for-profit strategic alliances in the Disability Sector representing 14 of Australia’s leading disability service providers.
Collectively, the organisation represents the interests of approximately $1.5 billion worth of support services to over 92,000 people with disability, their families, and carers across Australia.
Ability First Australia has experienced considerable growth in its footprint and turnover since its inception in 2002. Much of this growth can be attributed to the ongoing support of Anchorage, not only in its capacity as a major philanthropic partner, but also in its willingness to provide access to its extensive relationships within the Private Capital and professional services communities.
The Ability First Australia team has been housed and operated from Anchorage’s Sydney offices on a pro-bono basis since inception, providing our team with first hand visibility of the impact Ability First Australia has in the community.
Anchorage has also provided mentorship and strategic advice to Ability First Australia as it has navigated complex commercial opportunities over the years.
