Anchorage Welcomes New Managing Partner, Ed Bostock

We were delighted to welcome Ed Bostock to the Anchorage Managing Partner team earlier in the month.

Ed brings a unique combination of investing, private equity, corporate and operational experience that is highly complementary to the skills of the Anchorage team and additive to Anchorage's future investing.

Ed will also join the Investment Committee for Anchorage Capital Partners Fund III and Fund IV.

Anchorage Announces Promotion of Jasmine Wang to Director

Recently, we announced the promotion of Jasmine Wang to Director.

Since joining Anchorage in 2021, Jasmine has played a key role on several transactions including, Access Community Health and Evolve Education Group. Jasmine is on the investment team for SPL and Evolve and is on the board of Access.

Anchorage Portfolio Company SPL, Opens New Plant & Wins Healthcare Contract

SPL has expanded its footprint with the acquisition of a new plant in Belmont, Western Australia.

This plant was opened in response to strong and growing demand from mining, healthcare, and accommodation customers in the region, including a significant newly awarded healthcare contract.

The Belmont plant will complement SPL's existing plant in Maddington to ensure continued delivery of high-quality service to SPL customers.

Anchorage Portfolio Company David Jones, Launches App & Re-Opens Burwood Store

David Jones recently launched its mobile app to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel shopping experience.

Developed in conjunction with global software engineering consultancy Mindera, the best-in-class design system will allow the retailer to bring new innovations to market more efficiently and engage with customers more effectively. It marks a significant milestone in the brand's tech transformation that will see $65 million invested over the next three years.

In other exciting news, David Jones had re-opened the doors to its newly refurbished Westfield Burwood Store, marking another significant landmark in the brand's store optimisation and refurbishment journey, following a significant investment into the reimagined shopping destination. The store features a modern, elevated fit-out, with an extensive line-up of Australian and International brands, and new services across beauty and women's intimates.

Megan Gale joined David Jones CEO, Scott Fyfe in re-opening the store.
